Day 01 Arrival Calcutta
Upon arrival at Calcutta international airport you will be meet and greet by the representative of SIMRAN Holidays and transfer to the hotel. Evening free at leisure. Overnight at the hotel.


Day 02 Calcutta - Patna - Nalanda – Rajgir (Flight)
Morning after buffet breakfast at your hotel, you leave for Patna by air and upon arrival meet and directly transfer by surface to Rajgir, where the 1st Buddhist council was held. Enroute visit Nalanda, the great Buddhist University. Overnight at hotel.

Day 03 Rajgir - Bodhgaya (75 kms/02 hrs)
Morning after breakfast, leave for Bodhgaya by surface. Afternoon visit the Mahabodhi temple where The Buddha attained enlightenment, evening free at leisure. Overnight at hotel.

Day 04 Bodhgaya - Varanasi (265 Kms/06 ½ hrs)
Morning after breakfast, leave for Varanasi by surface. Upon arrival check in to your hotel. Rest of the day free at leisure. Overnight at hotel.

Day 05 Varanasi
Early morning optional boat excursion on the River Ganges. Afternoon visit Sarnath where Buddha preached his first Sermon. Evening free at leisure. Overnight at hotel.

Day 06 Varanasi
Morning breakfast at your hotel half day sightseeing to visit the Kashi Vishvanath Temple, Durga Temple, Benaras Hindu University, Tulsi Temple. Evening free at leisure. Overnight at your hotel.

Day 07 Varanasi – Kushinagar (275 kms/07 hrs)
Morning after buffet breakfast, leave for Kushinagar by surface and visit the site where The Buddha was cremated. Later visit the Mahaparinirvana temple. Overnight at hotel.

Day 08 Kushinagar - Lumbini - Balrampur (161 Kms/04 Hrs)
Morning after buffet breakfast, leave for Balrampur by surface enroute visit Lumbini (Nepal), the birth place of Lord Buddha. Evening free at leisure. Overnight at hotel.

Day 09 Balrampur - Lucknow – Calcutta (Flight)
Morning after buffet breakfast, visit Shravasti, where Buddha lived for 24 rainy seasons. Afternoon leave for Lucknow to connect your flight for Calcutta. Evening free at leisure. Overnight at hotel.

Day 10 Calcutta / Onward Destination
Morning after breakfast at your hotel, in time transfer to international airport to board your flight for onward destination.
